IOT Stand for “Internet Of Things”.
The Internet of Things is surely a term that you must be familiar with. Perhaps you have stumbled across it at work or read it online. Although most of us have heard the term, a lot of us are still confused about what it actually means.
Internet Of Things is things which can be sent data to internet or receive data from internet and interconnect all device in one platform which can be access from anywhere in the world. It may be wired or wireless. IOT can be use in home, office, industry, manufacture site, School, and garden mean everywhere.
It can be hard to understand concept about it when there are so many example and possibilities in IOT. For Clarity, I think its important to understand how it work of connecting thing to the internet.

IOT device which connect to internet which sent data and send to internet and IOT device receive data analyze data and react as we preset command. For example
Connect IOT device Temperature sensor which will sensor your temperature of you room, sent data to internet and another smart power socket(connected A/C) will receive the data from temperature sensor through internet operate power socket as your preset your instruction as shown in picture
